hunger pangs your throat a guttural word
press of midnight damp fingers into the egg yolk of my girl flesh
the split & the spill
utterance lapping tongue
pretty
pretty girl
(pretty dress)
inhale what clings to youth like mercurial vapor
sip it from the wellspring of my collar bone
my own blue want translated to a pale let
let of our small oblivion in a (compromising) (intimate) shape
let the small mouth kneel before i love you
coaxed to her through telephone wires
the same mouth stolen to the sonorous crack of a kiss
the body’s velocity more than the thought projecting it
how its echo lingers in the stale air natural as the laylines pull fissured through the fluorescent twilight
& condemned by vapid eyes of an empty urban wasteland
