Petrified animals mock my transformation
the {{People}} are entranced
read: entrapped.
A stranger chops off my feet and replaces them with the head of a broom
He has cut the tip of my tongue
I cannot tell anyone this man will kill me:
this is intimate
this is violence.
I know everyone who is witnessing this.
I swallow myself cut by cut.
